Keeping things interesting today
Don’t normally tend to do this much of the layouts digitally, but this time enjoying it and finding it handy to tweek this as i go, every forground midground and background is on its own layer, for each shot.
I sort of do this with sketches in ball point sometimes, or pencil, scan them in and build up the panels in layers. At this stage keeping some novelty in the proses helps keep things going a lot.
The layers in either case really helps develop these more organic pages.

Max Douglas (born 1970) is a Canadian comic-book creator. Since approximately 1996, he has worked under the pen name of Salgood Sam which is derived from a reverse spelling of his name.
